Balsamic Brussels Sprouts
What You’ll Need:
1 lb Brussels sprouts
1 large shallot
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
pinch of salt
The Method:
Halve the Brussels sprouts.
Place a shallow, large pot on medium heat. Once the pan is hot add the olive oil.
Once the oil is glossy, add in the Brussles sprouts, stirring occasionally for ~10 minutes.
While the Brussels sprouts cook, chop the shallots.
Add the shallots into the pot, let sauté for ~5-10 minutes.
When the Brussels sprouts are slightly browned, add in the balsamic vinegar and salt, sauté for ~5 minutes and turn the heat to medium-high.
Once the Brussels sprouts are crispy, remove from heat and serve warm.
