Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts

  • 1 large shallot

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • pinch of salt

The Method:

  1. Halve the Brussels sprouts.

  2. Place a shallow, large pot on medium heat. Once the pan is hot add the olive oil.

  3. Once the oil is glossy, add in the Brussles sprouts, stirring occasionally for ~10 minutes.

  4. While the Brussels sprouts cook, chop the shallots.

  5. Add the shallots into the pot, let sauté for ~5-10 minutes.

  6. When the Brussels sprouts are slightly browned, add in the balsamic vinegar and salt, sauté for ~5 minutes and turn the heat to medium-high.

  7. Once the Brussels sprouts are crispy, remove from heat and serve warm.
