Tuna Salad
What You’ll Need:
1 can Albacore white tuna (I use Wild Planet Foods , no salt added)
1/2 avocado
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp mayonnaise (I use Primal Kitchen Foods avocado oil mayo)
1 celery stalk, chopped
1/4 honeycrisp apples, chopped
1 tbsp red onion, chopped
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
The Method:
Chop the celery, apples and red onion. Place in a small bowl.
Mash the avocado and add to the bowl with the chopped ingredients.
Drain the tuna and flake with a fork. Add to the bowl.
Add the lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Mix all together with a fork until thoroughly combined.
Taste and adjust, as needed. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
